May 18, Sullivan First UMC will be hosting a blood drive in our Annex from 4pm until 7pm.

I know, it doesn’t sound fun getting poked by needle, but this is something that is important. 1 unit of blood helps up to 3 different people! Giving blood helps to save lives by assisting ER patients in surgery, cancer patients, burn victims, etc… It’s an easy way to LITERALLY save lives!

Now, I know that many of you may be wondering if you are eligible to give. If you have any questions about eligibility, clicking here will take you to the Indiana Blood Center’s webpage with eligibility. Who knows – you may be surprised!

If for some reason you cannot give blood, then let me challenge you to find someone who can in your place! A brother, a sister, a friend, someone who owes you a favor… you get the drill!

Need further convincing? Click here for a video that tells you the Story About a Drop of Blood! Or here, here or here to see why others give in support of their families!

Please consider giving blood. A signup sheet is in the back of the sanctuary on Sunday mornings before and after worship. If you want to know what times are still available, please email the church office at [email protected] to take a slot.
